I am a mathematician, I am a maker, I am a mother, I am vegetarian, I am Polish, I am Peruvian, I am French and again I am a mathematician.

What is this website?

I used to be a blogger. After a few years break from blogging, this is yet another fresh start for my blogger identity. As usual, I’ll blog mostly about mathematics.

This website is (planned to be) also a placeholder for useful bits of information

about me: a CV, a list of publications, a list of projects…
about my interests: a reading list, appreciation lists…

You said French ? Polish ? Peruvian?

This is (planned to be) a multi-lingual website. I would like for pages at least to be shown in four languages, the four that I speak. Blog posts will be in whatever language I feel comfortable at the moment.

I place high-value on the web accessibility. If you encounter any accessibility issues with this website, please tell me.

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. This means that all the code is public, and that you can submit issues and pull-requests when you encounter any problem. Please, feel free to do so.

alba~math stays on Wordpress

For the moment, alba~math stays on Wordpress. The two main reasons are:

I lack time and wordpress is easier thus less time-consuming to maintain;
I am teaching Wordpress development and I need a site to test it on.

I like a lot the ideas behind Jekyll, that’s why I will keep this repository active for maybe coming back later to it.

alba~math migrates again!

Cool, my Jekyll generated website is on-line at Github Pages!

You can see my previous attempts to have a personal blog/website here (frome the most recent to the less recent):

sketch of a blog at wordpress : albamath.wordpress.com;
a neat tumblr : albamath.tumblr.com;
plain html at my website in Orsay : www.math.u-psud.fr/~malaga.

The idea is that (almost) all this content will finish up gathered at albamath.com. I hope that this will not take me too much time because instructions exist for both migrating from Tumblr to Jekyll and from Wordpress.com to Jekyll.

P.S. Unfortunately, the blog that I had at the adress albankillapi.blogspot.com disappeared forever (and somebody took the adress, without filling it with content).
